JUNE 4th WORLD PREMIERE SOLD OUT IN THE FIRST 48 HOURS.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 1, 2022
Miyo Yamauchi is both Japanese and Angeleno, a seasoned storyteller and professional web developer. So it’s fitting that her first solo show How To Be Japanese: Your Normal is Not My Normal will premiere live in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and subsuquently livestreamed for online viewing everywhere else.
How To Be Japanese, directed by LA storytelling luminary Jane Morris, is already sold out for it’s live performance on Saturday, June 4, 2022. But the event will be reprised online with the National Storytelling Network on Saturday, June 18, 2022, @ 3 pm Pacific Time. Tickets for the online performance are $10.
Yamauchi was born and raised in Japan, but now resides in Southern California where she is a mainstay audience favorite at popular storytelling venues like the Fanatic Salon Theater, Strong Words, Story Salon, and the StoryMasters club.
