Thinking in terms of “Context”

Today I to want share with you “Bookanomics” a concept that I presented to #MIT to work with me on a special pilot program. It all started, Friday September 21, 2018, when I spoke at LA Rotary Club about INNOVATION: Turn Intentions Into Reality. During that talk I presented where educational books are today andBookanomicswhere educational books are headed in the future. Fall of 2019 some school districts will introduce Augmented Reality (AR) Books in their curriculum while maintaining the status quo. Basically this format just takes AR and adds it to a book while keeping the system moving.

Our current educational system is antiquated. It dates back to the industrial revolution and maintains many of those principles — Sanjay Sarma, VP of Learning MIT

Augmented Reality educational books for kids are only available if you are in a participating school district. The digital divide is accelerating starting in the inner city schools.

Something got to change.

For the past few years I’ve been researching delivery methods for content. What I’ve learned is “Curiosity” is the key to capturing a readers’ attention and when that happens the learning process begins…
